Raytheon, in support of the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, located in Cambridge, MA has an immediate opening for a Web Applications Designer with expertise in designing user interfaces for web applications using the Microsoft .NET Web development platform. The Designer should have work experience using the Microsoft Expression Studio which encompasses Expression Blend and SketchFlow, as well as XAML and HTML. The qualified candidate will be a key contributor in working with developers and web application architects to design applications using standard guidelines and design components with a mix of creativity and application design knowledge. The position requires a familiarity with design compliance with section 508, which is required for federal websites. In this position, the designer will work closely with development teams to ensure common usability standards in line with FAA usability standards.
